  Its the height of the summer and once again this year in Lloret the nightlife is in full swing, the young clubbers are queuing to get in to the night clubs and disco bars every night of the week!

In the same street we have some of the old favorites such as 'Rockefellers' disco bar which is still as popular today as it was more than 30 years ago! alongside new venues such the Beach Club that only opened last year 2011.

Lloret Clon Festival 2012 - Mecano

This years Clon Festival event kicked off last night with a fantastic night of music from Heroes de la Antartida who are a tribute band to Mecano. They are not a band I'm familiar with but still another great night of music enjoyed by the hundreds of the Spanish Mecano fans who gathered all around the stage down by the beach.

Lloret de Mar Fireworks 2012

 Last night the beach and all the roads around Lloret were packed with spectators wanting to catch this years fireworks display, we got a good spot on the beach just a few minutes before the show started. Unfortunately there wasn't any music to accompany the fireworks this year....the reason I should think would be to keep the cost down owing to the cuts the town hall is trying to make.
