Lloret de Mar weather - November

We are now heading towards the end of November and still we are getting lovely sunny days with almost every day in the 20s. Just the other day I passed through the little town of Vidreres (about 15-20 minutes from Lloret) the temperature there was 27ºc!
We have been out and about taking photos which shows that those who chose Lloret or other resorts along the Costa Brava for a pre winter break have really struck lucky this month with this beautiful weather.

Fira de Medieval - Lloret 2015

This coming weekend 14-15th November Lloret is transported back to Medieval times, For 2 full days there are lots of events taking place around the streets with market stalls, musicians, dancers and comedians all wearing medieval style clothing...and some dressed as the scariest characters you have ever! Weather wise  we've  had a great week in Lloret during the last few days, so fingers crossed it will carry on until at least after the Medieval event!

Aiguamolls de l'Emporda natural park.

We have today spent a very pleasant few hours at the Natural park of Aiguamolls de l'Emporda about 120km from Lloret de Mar. The park has a visitor centre where you can pick up leaflets with info and maps showing the different routes around the marshland. There is ample car parking, toilets and drinks/snacks machines.

There are several hides and lookout points along the routes overlooking the lakes from where you can observe the many species of birds which flock to the area. Today we were lucky enough to get these photos of the few types of birds we saw, as well as a few cows and horses!

Lloret - November weather

For the start of November we've had quite a mixture of weather, temperatures have been a very nice sunny 20º -22º but we have also had a good deal of rain most of which has fallen through the night I'm glad to say! These photos all taken this week show just how rough the sea has been but yet its still warm enough to sun bathe on the beach...providing you stay away from the water. Its far too dangerous when the waves are crashing upto the beach as they have this week.
