Over the next 2-3 days I will be posting photos and videos from the Rosamar Garden Resort Hotel in Lloret de Mar. We have just had the pleasure of a one night stay courtesy of the hotel management to enable us to show our members the amenities of the hotel…and what a pleasure it was! We found the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel was spotless.
We were able to have breakfast, lunch & dinner during our stay and we were just overwhelmed by the choice of food for all meals…something for everyone whatever your tastes! The heated serving trays were constantly refilled so there was no danger of any dishes running out.

As many of you will already know the old Gran Casino Royal hotel has undergone a massive makeover (costing 35 million euros!) making this a very special hotel to spend your holiday in #lloretdemar.
We were invited by Xavi LAzure to go along and photograph the new L’Azure hotel and what a pleasure it was!
Xavi met us in the hotel reception, from there he gave us a full guided tour showing us all the amenities and different areas of the hotel. There are 411 rooms ranging from standard through to superior, deluxe, suites and family suites etc….even the standard rooms are amazing! All rooms have Tv with chrome cast, coffee machine, safe, toiletries, hairdryer, mini bar and so much more.
This is a perfect hotel for families as there is a fantastic mini club, water play area on the ground floor pool area and lots of entertainment to keep the kids happy!
The adults have their own special area’s also with the gym, a beautiful spa, sauna and massage rooms. The roof top terrace on the 8th floor is ‘adult only’ here you can laze on the comfortable loungers around the infinity pool, dine at the restaurant and take a cocktail while looking out to sea…what a view!
Several themed restaurants at L’Azure cater for all tastes.
There is a huge entertainment/events centre for everyone called The Circus, with its large stage, Tv screen, music and dancing etc.

After what has been a very quiet year for Lloret de Mar we are now into September, a month which should be very busy with lots of tourists. Now that the children are back at school and the airfares are normally cheaper Lloret is in the sad situation where most hotels have closed through lack of guests and bars/restraunts etc are having to decide whether its worth their while staying open or close much earlier for the season. This video taken today (16th September) shows how deserted the town is just now!
Lloret de Mar market is very popular with both local residents and tourists. There is always bargains to be found...whether its clothing, handbags, underwear, household goods or fruit and veg! It is held every Tuesday morning opening between 9-10am, and located on the edge of town approx 10mins walk from Llorets bus station.
