Lloret de Mar - Catamaran cruise

A very popular trip here on the Costa Brava is the Catamaran Cruise. It is a half day excursion which picks up at both beaches in Lloret, Tossa de Mar and also Blanes. After boarding you are taken to a quiet cove where you can swim, dance to the music on board and enjoy a barbeque, and not forgetting...enjoy the beautiful coast line of the Costa Brava !

Lloret de Mar Beaches Today

Now that the kids are back to school the town is a little bit quieter. This morning we decided to have a walk through the woods over to the nearby beaches of Boadella and Santa Cristina. The temperature in Lloret today was 32c, so the beaches were still quite busy but not as packed as they are in July and August. These 2 photos were actually taken today.

Lloret de Mar - Tribute Bands

Here we have just a couple of photo's from the last of this years tribute bands The Blues Brothers!They played last Friday night on the open air stage near the beach. As usual every one enjoyed a really good show....wonder who will play next year??

This year a few of the regular vistitors to Lloret have celebrated their 50th birthday. So as usual 'any excuse for party' and because it was a rainy day we all ended up in Gerry's Bar!!
