Easter holidays in Lloret

Well, the Easter break is over for another year but luckily enough for those who chose to spend it in Lloret the weather was very kind to them, although the evenings are still quite cool the days have been glorious! The photos below were taken while we were out and about in Lloret yesterday.

Sightseeing in Girona

When holidaymakers come to Lloret de Mar they are usually wanting to know of the best places to visit in the surrounding area...one place they never think of visiting is Girona, But what a beautiful city it is...so underrated! There is a regular bus service from Lloret bus station direct to the bus station in Girona, from there you simply make your way across the river to the old part of town where you will find a maze of narrow cobbled streets, lovely medieval houses which line the river, the Jewish quarter, delightful shops, museums, the church of Sant Feliu, and  Santa Maria Cathedral.
