Lloret de Mar Fireworks 2012

 Last night the beach and all the roads around Lloret were packed with spectators wanting to catch this years fireworks display, we got a good spot on the beach just a few minutes before the show started. Unfortunately there wasn't any music to accompany the fireworks this year....the reason I should think would be to keep the cost down owing to the cuts the town hall is trying to make.

Latest Tobacco Prices

Here is the very, very latest price list from the tobacconist which shows the new prices for cigs and tobacco as they are today 25th July 2012 in Spain.
Most significant price rises at the moment seem to be on the hand rolling tobacco.

A Colourful Day in Lloret

 Yesterday while walking around the town there seemed to be a mass of bright colours everywhere, from the Town Hall which was decorated in flags to celebrate the Santa Cristina fiesta, to the parasols, kayaks and cocktails on the beach.
