Lunch at the International Restaurant.

A few of us went out for lunch to the International Restaurant in Fenals yesterday where you can get a lovely 'Menu del Dia' for only €10 each....not only is it a great menu but just look at the fantastic late afternoon views taken from the restaurant! Bright blue sunny skies and temperatures still in double figures...not bad for the last day of November, it was only 14ºc but still felt quite warm in the sun. Last night though was a different matter it actuall y dropped to -2º during the night!!

The International will be open on Christmas day for a special festive lunch, as yet we dont know whats on the menu but at a cost of €30 each it sounds like it could be worth looking at!

Lloret de Mar November Weather

The weather is much cooler today in Lloret...but quite understandable as we approach the end of November! Some rain has fallen through the night and the current temperature is only 10ºc on the coast, and the humidity has been very high for several days now. We can now say that winter is definatley here, but just for today we can take a look back to the blue skies and warmer temperatures of only about 3 weeks ago!

Classic Cars in Lloret

 We were very disappointed about the number of cars which were on show during Saturdays Classic car event! More than 100 cars were predicted to take part from 10am and throughout the day, but where were they?

At midday there was a total of only eight!!
If more did bother turn up later in the day then it was far too late for those who came to see them at the advertised time!
A note to Lloret events organisers....'Must do better'!!

Classic Cars Exhibition

An exhibition of classic cars is taking place at 10am Pere Torrent (the carousel square) tomorrow Saturday 24th October. More than one hundred are expected to take part in this years event with categories for the oldest car, the best preserved car and the most appealing car!
