Fenals / Santa Christina Fiesta

 This morning as part of the weekends fiesta buttifara, pan con tomate and wine was been served in the park in Fenals centre. I'm told that 1,200 buttifarra were cooked and given out to all those who joined the queue which almost went right round the park!

 

 

 

 

 

Fenals/Santa Cristina Fiesta

This weekends fiesta got off to a good start yesterday evening with a very messy foam party!

Hundreds of kids and adults joined in the fun as the foam billowed out and they all got absolutely covered in the stuff... the showers on the beach came in handy to rinse it all off afterwards!

Placa Nova

A 3 day fiesta centered around Fenals is taking place as from this Friday 30th August, lots of activities are planned so its hoped that the weather stays fine! Some roads in the area will be closed so be warned if your coming into Fenals as parking places will be very limited during the fiesta.
Early Friday evening along the Fenals seafront carpark is where the fiesta starts with childrens games, animation and inflatables, later that night there will be music and dancing.
Saturday at 11am you can try the Catalan 'delicacy' Buttifarras and have a go at drinking the local wine from the porron! this will be taking place in Placa Nova Fenals. As usual the fireworks display will be at 10.30pm down on the beach with music and dancing afterwards.
Sunday evening there will be live music in Placa Nova starting at approx 7pm, last year this was a great night which went on until the early hours!...so there's just a few of the events I've listed but there will be lots more going on in between...looks like its going to be a busy weekend for me with the camera !
