Fenals Beach Today

No apologies for showing todays photos taken on the beach at Fenals today showing how this brilliant October weather is still holding out. A few holiday makers are making the most of it and spending time on the beach and also taking to the sea which is still remarkably warm for the time of year!

Lloret de Mar Castle

 If you take a walk along the footpath round the castle of Lloret then it not only gives fantastic views of the rocky coves and coastline but you can also see these interesting sights in the walls along the way!

 Who would think that we could still be getting days like this in October, all these photos were taken around mid-day today. Fantastic blue skies with a temperature of 25º C and there's still no sign of this beautiful weather ending!

El Relicario Lloret de Mar

While so many bars, restaurants and other businesses are finding it hard to keep their doors open in these hard times, there is some good news about one of the old favourites in Lloret! El Relicario - the famous chicken restaurant has this summer opened for business again after been closed for many months. We payed a visit last night and were warmly welcomed by some of the original staff. After we arrived the restaurant slowly began to get busy with lots of familiar faces who just like us were eager to find out if the chicken was as good as it always was....no need to worry though I can confirm it was excellent with the usual excellent service!
