Lloret - Whats open in March.
So many people just now now are wanting to know just what is open in Lloret at this time of year. The hotels which have been closed through the winter are now preparing to open for the season. Recently the the popular all inclusive Royal Beach & Royal Star along with several independent hotels have reopened and lots of holidaymakers are here for a few days spring break. Just now many of Llorets bars remain closed but the latest news of British bars which are open can be found on 'Lloret's Booze News'
I did notice yesterday that both the Dream Cafe bars on the main strip are now open, this is a great place to catch all the live Sports, all the games to be screened are listed outside on the boards. To keep upto date with the latest opening dates click on the Booze News picture.

Lloret de Mar Weather Today
Now that the hotels are starting to open up again there's quite a few holiday makers in town and the place is looking a bit more lively. Some which I've seen today have actually had a bit too much sun and are looking quite red!

Watch iPlayer in Spain
Have you ever tried to access the BBC iPlayer only to be told that as you are not resident in the UK then you are not eligible to watch?
I'm sure many expats will already know about the Expat Shield programme which enables you to access iPlayer on your PC if you live abroad, but for those who don't then it's just a simple matter of going to their website and downloading their programme which will then allow you to watch BBC iPlayer etc just as though you were in the UK! It really does work and is completely free of charge! Have a look at their website here EXPAT SHIELD
