This video was taken during Ian's 40th birthday celebrations on Wednesday 1st Aug, we secretly believe he enjoyed every minute!

Not the original foam party which the Lloret de Mar nightlife is renowned for but this is the mini version for the kiddies on Fenals beach..it looks like their having a great time probably getting into practise for when they are older!

Lloret Clon Festival 2012 - Mecano

This years Clon Festival event kicked off last night with a fantastic night of music from Heroes de la Antartida who are a tribute band to Mecano. They are not a band I'm familiar with but still another great night of music enjoyed by the hundreds of the Spanish Mecano fans who gathered all around the stage down by the beach.

Lloret de Mar Fireworks 2012

 Last night the beach and all the roads around Lloret were packed with spectators wanting to catch this years fireworks display, we got a good spot on the beach just a few minutes before the show started. Unfortunately there wasn't any music to accompany the fireworks this year....the reason I should think would be to keep the cost down owing to the cuts the town hall is trying to make.
