One of the most popular online search phrases for Lloret de Mar holidaymakers is "Lloret de Mar restaurants" so here is my guide to the best restaurants in town.
|
Can Guidet |
Whenever you dine out in Lloret de Mar one thing you can always be sure of is great value for money and an excellent choice of restaurants. If you follow the old rule of dining out at the same places as the locals then you won't go wrong! You will find that all restaurants will have their own special daytime menu 'menu del dia' this is usually a typical Catalan meal consisting of three courses with wine. Catalan cuisine cannot be considered as spicy but ALWAYS very tasty and cooked to perfection! You can expect to pay between €8 - €11for a midweek menu, weekend prices are considerably higher at some places. The Chinese restaurants in Lloret all offer the cheapest 'menu' usually about €5-6 again for 3 courses with wine, unless of course you go to the all you can buffet restaurants such as the Free Wok or Nou Wok the prices there range from just over €8 to €12 depending on the day.
Here are most popular centrally located restaurants as favoured by the locals in Lloret....

La Campana |
La Campana - best spit roasted chicken in town served with the freshest salad possible.
La Fusta - located near the church and Gerry's Bar always excellent food.
Orient Express - good menu with views over looking Lloret sea front.

Can Sabata |
Can Guidet - excellent Catalan menu in a farmhouse style setting where they grow much of their own salad stuff and vegetables.
Georgio's - to reach Georgio's you would need to get a taxi if you have no car, but well worth the extra couple of kilometre's journey! In the Fenals area we have some great restaurants, I can honestly say that with living in this area I have now tried almost everyone and not yet had a bad meal.
The
International and
Xaloc both on Fenals seafront are equally as good with excellent dishes to suit all tastes.
El Jardin - on the main road opposite the Royal Star offer an evening 'menu' as well as the usual 'menu del dia'

El Raco de Fenals |
El Raco de Fenals - just opposite El Pub, this cosy little restaurant is actually the only place where we now see people queuing for a table.
On the main street in Fenals are the
Can Quicu - not only a full menu but here you can choose from a variety of dishes from their tapas menu.
Leman and America restaurants great service in both and have a wide range of meals to suit all tastes!
Autentic - (still known as the Washington by many people) a very well known and popular restaurant with excellent service. Sundays 'menu del dia' is a very fishy affair consisting of mostly seafood!
