Fenals Fiesta - Lloret
Its been a fantastic fiesta weekend in Fenals with 3 days of celebrations, we have had live music, fireworks and dancing all going on until the early hours of the morning.
The kids have been able to enjoy all kinds of activities such as rides and bouncy castles on the square and also down on the seafront.

Clon Festival - Metalmania!
On the stage last night for the last of this years Clon Festival events in Lloret were 'Metalmania' a fantastic tribute to the heavy metal band Metallica...we managed to get to the front to take more than 300 shots of them in action!

A day trip to Blanes.

Its so easy to find plenty of places to visit from Lloret de Mar, you
only have to go the the local bus station and buy a ticket to the place
of your choice. Just a 20 minute bus journey down the coast brings you
to Blanes, A good day to visit for shopping would be Monday when the
local market is held, the stalls stretch all along the seafront. The
fresh fruit and veg stalls are located on the street which runs parallel
with the seafront just one street back.
Blanes has a fairly large marina which you can walk around and watch for the fishing boats coming in with their catch of the day. Around the marina and seafront are numerous restaurants - you are actually spoilt for choice with the number of restaurants in Blanes, as you can imagine many of which specialise in seafood!
You can also take the 'hop on hop off' bus up to the Marimurtra Gardens set high on the cliffs from where you can see for miles! the gardens have more than 4,000 types of cacti from all around the world.
