Craig Mallon - an appeal

I've been asked by David Swindle the Consultant Independent Reviewer supporting Craig's family if I would make another appeal on the blog and my Facebook page requesting any information from who may have been in Lloret de Mar on the night that Craig sadly lost his life during the early hours of Saturday 19th May 2012
If you or anyone you know were in Lloret that weekend please take a moment to view the Facebook appeal page by following this link -   https://www.facebook.com/CraigMallonAppeal

Thanking you in advance for any information.

Santa Cristina Festival - Lloret

The flotilla of boats which made their way to Santa Cristina this morning were on their way at 8pm, much too early for us to be out taking photos! but looking down the coast from the Sant Juan tower later this morning just a few of the boats are still gathered off the coast as all those who made the journey go to the tiny Santa Cristina church for mass and the tuck into their traditional meal of  Catalan stew 'estofado' before making their way back to Lloret beach.

Lloret De Mar Beach

With temperatures into the 30s almost everyday what better way to cool off than to spend some time lazing about on the beach  and taking the occasional dip in the sea!
A mass of colourful  parasol's providing a bit of much needed shade!

Lloret - Santa Cristina events

Once again we had ideal weather for all yesterdays events for the Santa Cristina Festival the Costa Brava Reggae fest near the castle was the first stop for us, nothing much happening there just a few stalls selling not much at all...I suspect it was a bit more lively as the night wore on!

Next on the agenda were the 'giants' in Placa Torrent - always great fun. Here they are gathering in the square before taking their stroll towards the the Town Hall square...but for us it was time to go eat!

Lloret de Mar Apartment to Rent

A beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in Fenals is available to rent for the holiday season. Ideally suitable for 4 people although there is a spare bed suitable for a child so can accommodate 5 easily. It is located in a quiet area only a short walk to  picturesque Fenals and Santa Clotilde gardens, close to good bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Lloret de Mar centre is approximately 20 minutes walk away, but the local Fenals-Lloret bus stops right out side the apartment building.
