Lloret de Mar, Cala Banys views
One of the most picturesque views in Lloret!
Looking out to sea from the terrace of the bar at Cala Banys
Back in May I published photos of the 'lovers locks' which are been fastened to the chain surrounding the Dona Marinera statue, since then many more have been placed there with names and dates of the people who left them.
A lovely clear view of the coast showing Blanes in the distance.

Sant Joan Tower Lloret
As you look from the beach of Lloret towards Fenals you will see the tall round tower of Sant Joan perched on the cliffs. So if you ever feel like an energetic walk to reach it you have lovely views of all the local coastline. Here is a short video taken from the top of Sant Joan Tower when we visited this weekend...but we are very lucky that we live quite nearby so its more of a leisurely stroll for us!

Lloret de Mar - What to visit
For an incredible view of Lloret de Mar with a difference visit the the tower which stands high on the cliffs between Lloret and Fenals. Normally it costs €3 to get in but today it was free as were a few other places in Lloret such as the Maritim museum & Santa Clotilde Gardens. As you enter the door at the bottom of the tower you have a long winding staircase to climb to reach the top, but once there you have fantastic views over all Lloret.
Our fist view today as we reached the top were the 2 seagulls pictured here taking a rest on the towers wall!
