One of the most interesting days out in the Catalan region has got to be a visit to Peralada...not only to look around the old medieval village but a visit to the Castle/Church is a must! The library here is an amazing room which houses approximately 100,000 books where people can still go to study this massive collection.
The Glass collection of more than 2,500 pieces is the most important private collection in Spain and considered to be one of the most renowned in the world. In the same room is a ceramics collection of 1,000 plus pieces and also an ancient coin collection.
Visiting the Castle museum is by tour guide only taking 55mins, During the tour the guide will give an interesting explanation about the history of the buildings, its collections, and works of art. Gates are open promptly on the hour for the start of the tour and locked when the group has entered, they will not be opened again until its time for the next tour...so you must be there on time!

Family, a few local people and officials were there to give support to Craig's family on this sad day. The search still continues for anyone who can help with this investigation...if you were in Lloret de Mar at that time then it is possible you have just the smallest piece of information that could bring this to a close for Craig's family...if so please visit the Craig Mallon Appeal Facebook page.
