Lloret de Mar - for the kids!
One of the most asked questions on the Lloret Group Facebook page is what is there for the children to do in Lloret de Mar....here is one idea which will keep the younger children occupied for a while! Roundabouts, swings, rides, video games and lots lots more. This colourful little amusement park is near the post office, just 2 minutes along the road behind the bus station.

Sant Antoni Horse Parade
The horses and riders were looking their very best for today's parade which took place around the Town Hall. I'm pleased that the weather stayed fine for them as we have had some very unsettled weather just lately. Once the parade was over the street cleaners were out....as you can imagine it was quite messy afterwards, but the streets were soon back to normal!

Sant Jordi celebrations in Lloret
Sant Jordi (St George) day celebrations will be held this coming weekend 22-23rd April in Lloret. As usual at this time of year there will roses and books on sale all over town and particularly along the promenade in front of the Town Hall. St George is also the patron saint of Catalunya as well as in England and the usual custom is that couples, partners or friends each buy the other a gift...roses for the ladie's and a book for the men.
