Lloret de Mar Fireworks 2013

Instead of going over to watch the annual fireworks display from the beach as we usually do, we had the idea of trying to see them from a distance and found a very good spot in between Lloret and Fenals. No photos this time as they do tend to all look the same after taking them year after year, but here's something a little different - 2 videos of the full 20 minute display but all crammed into less than 2 minutes!

Just on the edge of the hectic nightlife area of Lloret you will find a completely different atmosphere - taking a relaxing evening stroll along the beaches of Fenals and Lloret de Mar is the ideal way to wind down after your HOT day on the beach or a busy day trekking round the shops looking for those holiday souvenirs to take back home!

Lloret de Mar - places to visit

After living in Lloret for almost 10 years we have never been to the top of the Sant Juan tower which we can see from our home in Fenals, we just didn't realise how good the views would be from the top. We have walked past the entrance to the tower countless times however yesterday we did  climb all the stairs to the top...and the amazing views seen here are the result!

Craig Mallon - an appeal

I've been asked by David Swindle the Consultant Independent Reviewer supporting Craig's family if I would make another appeal on the blog and my Facebook page requesting any information from who may have been in Lloret de Mar on the night that Craig sadly lost his life during the early hours of Saturday 19th May 2012
