Lloret's swimming club will be taking to the cold sea for they're first organised dip of the year on 8th January. This is an event where anyone can take part, whether your 2 or 72, but the club does recommend that after coming out of the sea you thoroughly dry yourself in order not to catch cold. The weather forecast is good but the sea will feel very cold on entering! The first dip of the day will be at 11am near the yacht club, another dip will take place at 12.30.So far the record number of those taking part was in 2007 when 180 braved the cold.
All being well l hope to be there myself but l'll be all wrapped up taking a few photos!
