It's nearly time for the carnival here in Lloret de Mar starting off on 28th February when there will be a full 6 days of entertainment and activities. The big parades will take place over 2 days Saturday and Sunday 1st-2nd March. This is one of the best events on Lloret's calendar and there's sure to be a massive turnout from Lloret's residents and also the hotels (those that are open!) will be fully booked for carnival time. The close of the carnival will take place in front of the Town Hall at 8pm on Wednesday 5th March with the very strange event of the 'Burial of the Sardine'.......dont miss it!
