November in Lloret

Walking around the streets of Lloret during the winter months and some days you will hardly see a soul! The hotels that do remain open during the winter are normally busier at the weekends with people just here to stay for a weekend break. But as you can see from these photos the weather can and usually is very pleasant, although much colder in the evenings through the day the sun will still be shining most days! ..... a great opportunity to explore some of the older streets in Lloret....some of which you can see here.

Visiting Cadaques

The beautiful small white village of Cadaques is approx 90 minutes drive from Lloret de Mar and somewhere you must visit if you have the opportunity! It's a very popular tourist attraction any time of year owing to its links to famous artists such as Dali and Picasso.

You can download a brochure from the Cadaques tourist centre here - Visit Cadaques

Lloret de Mar weather - November

We are now heading towards the end of November and still we are getting lovely sunny days with almost every day in the 20s. Just the other day I passed through the little town of Vidreres (about 15-20 minutes from Lloret) the temperature there was 27ºc!
We have been out and about taking photos which shows that those who chose Lloret or other resorts along the Costa Brava for a pre winter break have really struck lucky this month with this beautiful weather.

Fira de Medieval - Lloret 2015

This coming weekend 14-15th November Lloret is transported back to Medieval times, For 2 full days there are lots of events taking place around the streets with market stalls, musicians, dancers and comedians all wearing medieval style clothing...and some dressed as the scariest characters you have ever! Here you can see the full agenda of events http://lloretdemar.org/images/medieval15.pdf
Weather wise  we've  had a great week in Lloret during the last few days, so fingers crossed it will carry on until at least after the Medieval event!
